Print and Book Design

Overview

Lunar New Year 101 is a book I made for my publication design class at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The assignment was to create an original printed book of any choice of topic. I have chosen one of the most popular holidays in Asia; Lunar New Year. I have chosen this topic because I wanted to spread information about the holiday, and learn more about it myself.

Strategy

My strategy was to use high quality photos with textures for the layout to make it more appealing. I wanted the layout to be unique enough to appeal to a young demographic.
